Five-O was formed in 2014 by several musicians who became friends as co-members of the Police Pipes & Drums of Bergen County. Upon discovering their shared interest in classic rock and their ability to play multiple instruments, the group began jamming together. They started by performing at backyard barbeques and eventually progressed to playing live shows at public venues. The band consists of a 6-piece lineup, including 2 guitars, bass guitar, keyboards/sax, Vocals and drums. Additionally, the band occasionally incorporates the majestic sound of the great highland bagpipes into their performances. Five-O originates from the Bergen County area and primarily plays at local venues. The name "Five-O" derives from the fact that 5 out of 6 band members have a background in law enforcement as their "day jobs." The band covers classic rock hits from the 60s through the 90s, encompassing artists such as Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Neil Young, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, as well as various one-hit wonders and more.6
